Reflection: What this quote means is that you must try harder to be a little better, for example in school, you must try hard to become better in school. Another example is in a sport when you want to be the best in the team you should practice extra time to be a little better.

Medical Illustrator


Duties and Responsibilities:

Medical illustrators are highly skilled artists. They work in the medical field and create graphics for textbooks, journals, magazines and educational films. Some medical illustrators prepare that aid in research about or creation of artificial body parts. For examples ears, noses and for patients that are deformed or have undergone some surgeries.


Average Salary: $35,000 - $50,000

Educational Requirements:

Students should take science program in high school and college. In college they should either major in art and minor in science or major science and minor in art. Most of the medical illustrators have master’s degrees in the medical field. Certification as a medical illustrator requires a graduate degree in medical illustration, and a successful completion of a national examination.


Reflection:
I wouldn't like to do this because it’s a nice thing they do that they create noses and ears for people but at the same time scary because what if it comes out wrong and you get blamed for it and you feel bad. I will not enjoy that job.

What this quote means is that if you want to achieve excellence you have to stop slacking off now and make yourself think about achieving. For example if you want to pass the class then you need to focus on the "A" not Anything lower than that.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Medical assistants help physicians and nurse deliverer patient care. They schedule appointments; take blood, pressures, respiration, temperatures; and perform other routine patient pre-examining procedures. Medical assistants work in hospitals, clinics, and private physicians’ offices.

Average Salary: 

$17,000 - $18,000

Educational Requirements:

Students must complete courses in biology physical science, office management, communications and human relations, although medical assistant training programs may accept a GED. Medical assistant is provided by community college. It may take between six months and two years to complete.

Reflection:  Maybe I would like to do this, maybe seems very interesting.

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Licensed Practical Nurses work with and under the direction of registered nurses and physicians. They care for injured, handicapped and sick patients. The duties they have to do are taking temperature, blood pressures and pulses. They also give injection, change dressings and help patient’s baths.

Education: 

High school diploma or GED certificate is not always required, it is encouraged.  State approved training programs are offered by the hospitals, vocational schools, junior colleges and private schools.

Reflection: What i think this quote means is that the fact of winning is to make a change to inspire people just like paul bear bryant did, Mr. haymore said that he still inspires people today. For example lets say you make a debate and you want to inspire people to make vote for you, not because you popular or something, but someone who will make a change in your school or something.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Industrial hygienists evaluate health hazards, conduct health risk assessments, manage industrial or business health programs, and provide consultation. Many work as part of an industrial or government team, although some have private practices. Industrial hygienist often:

Duties and Responsibilities:

Home health aides is more for companies that provide in home assistance to ill, injury, elderly, or disabled customers. The duties they do are blood pressure, temperature, and pulse of patients.  They also help patients get out of bed, take baths and dress. They also perform housekeeping such as chores and making beds and cleaning rooms. And they prepare and serve meals for you.

Educational Requirements:


Most employers prefer that the people who want to do the home health aide must have a high school diploma or GED certificate. Some of them could even have a vocational schools and community colleges offer training programs.

Histology Specialist


Duties and Responsibilities:

Histology Specialist includes Histologist Technicians and Histologists. Another name for Histologist is Histotechnologist. The Histologist prepares tissues samples if the patient has a disease, dysfunction or malignancy. They look at the samples through a microscope after and they use a special chemicals to stain the important structures are visible. Histologist performs very complex and advanced procedures than technicians or also they perform management functions. Histologist work in hospitals, veterinary, pharmacy, or research laboratories.

Educational Requirements:

Students should take the hardest high school courses of their school. Such as science, math, and English.
To be able to become a histologist technician, students must either earn an associate’s degree in the medical field. Also needs a long term training program in histopathology lab. They also need to pass a national examination. To be able to become a histologist you must either have a bachelor’s degree or one year of clinical internship.


Reflection: 

No I wouldn't like to be a histology specialist because I didn't take the hardest courses in high school.

Health science librarian organizes medical information and help practitioners find the information they need for the patient. Such as care, education, research and administration. Librarians select and recommend books and journal but they also establish electronic and digital data information systems. Library technicians assist by organizing collections, shelve books and to manage circulation desks and they also perform administrative duties.

$20,000 - $30,000 (Library technicians)
$35,000 - $55,000 (Librarians)

Education: 

Students should challenge themselves with high school course in science, math and English. Health science library technicians provide training for many employers. Health science librarians earn their undergraduate degree and must ear a master’s degree in library science from the program that is the American library association.

Answer:

 I think I would like to be a health science librarian because what they do is keep things organize and help people if they need the assistance. And I’m good at those things, and I’m a very friendly person.

The health specialist process and stores the electronic health information. Another duty is that they need to input for the electronic health systems for example vital statistics, and other documents. And finally performs in other duties needed or assigned.

 Education: Students must take high school courses in business, information, management, science, math and English. They must have GED or high school diploma. Emergency Medical Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

Emergency medical technicians, or EMTs, usually work in teams of two in specially designed ambulances. They provide immediate life or limb saving medical treatment at the scenes of accidents and injuries as well as transport casualties to hospital emergency rooms for further care. The jobs is both physically demanding and stressful. Emergency medical technicians often respond to:

Educational Requirements:

Electroneuodiagnostic technologist use electronic graphs to determine if patients are suffering from a central nervous system conditions or disease like epilepsy, tumors, stroke, or trauma. The graphs are records of the brain’s electrical activity.
Electoneurodianostic technologist usually work in hospital, laboratories, or physicians’ offices. They:
